Codegirl, a documentary directed by Lesley Chilcott (An Incovenient Truth) will be available for free on Youtube in November, 1st to 5th –
The film covers Technovation, the world’s largest and longest-running tech competition for girls. The students Jacqueline Alves, Jaqueline Rodrigues, Leonor Victória and Maria Gabrielle are starring the film and were coached by Tiago Machado, NYU Game Innovation Lab PHD Candidate and his colleagues, Luiz Araujo (CESAR) and Roger Vieira (CESAR) during the contest. Their team, Portmund, from Brazil, developed a game to teach kids good habits that help to save water. In NYC, The AMC Village East will start to exhibit the movie on the 11th of December.
